POPS Kids, a subsidiary of POPS Worldwide, is a leading online platform in Vietnam offering a rich variety of children’s content—from anime and cartoons to interactive learning programs. Beloved by children and trusted by parents, POPS Kids has built its name as a go-to entertainment destination for young audiences.
Although highly popular, POPS Kids was largely perceived as an entertainment-only brand. The main challenge was redefining this perception and positioning POPS Kids as a trusted edutainment platform where fun meets meaningful learning.
We aimed to convert fans into active users of the platform’s online educational courses.
To bridge the gap between entertainment and education, we designed a strategic offline campaign around International Children’s Day (June 1st), a major celebration for families in Vietnam. Key actions included:
Organized a large-scale public event to create a vibrant playground for children and parents, encouraging both fun and learning.
Partnered with teachers and educators to deliver educational stage performances, showcasing how learning can be fun and interactive.
Collaborated with iconic Japanese brands such as Pokémon and Doraemon to boost engagement and brand excitement.
Integrated interactive learning zones and program demos to introduce POPS Kids’ online educational content in a hands-on, relatable way.
Reinforced the brand’s edutainment positioning, merging trusted education with beloved entertainment content.
Drew in over 1,000 attendees to the event.
Achieved a 30% increase in sign-ups for online learning courses.
Successfully rebranded POPS Kids in the minds of parents as an edutainment platform—where kids can enjoy and learn, all in one place.
